Also called #8 Stone or Pea Gravel

Crushed and washed. Great for drainage or driveways. Softer underfoot than limestone — a nice choice if you walk barefoot around the yard.

Crushed and washed, mined locally in Corry, PA. Great for drainage projects, driveway topping, or any time you need to get out of the mud.

Light grey stone — our most popular decorative driveway topping. Imported via ship to the Erie stone dock. Not recommended around above-ground pools as it may corrode aluminum panels.

411 Limestone Sub-Base

Crushed limestone with fines

Crushed limestone rock with fines left in — an outstanding material for making a solid base under a patio or for a driveway. It compacts extremely well. Imported by ship to the Erie dock.

#2 Bluestone

Angular crushed bluestone, blue-grey tones

A popular decorative stone with a distinctive blue-grey color native to the region. Angular and clean — looks great in landscape beds, around trees, or as a path material. Holds its color well and doesn't wash out.

Crushed sandstone, warm tan and brown tones

Crushed sandstone in a warm tan-to-brown color range. A natural-looking choice for decorative beds, borders, and pathways. Blends well with brick, wood, and other earthy materials.

Dark crushed stone, high contrast

A dark, angular crushed stone that creates a bold contrast against green plants and light hardscape. Popular for mulching planting beds, accenting borders, and modern landscape designs.

Larger-sized crushed bluestone — a step up from #2. Good for drainage applications, erosion control along slopes, and landscape beds where you want a chunkier, more natural look.

Finely crushed limestone that packs down tight. Works well as a leveling course under pavers, as a top dressing for limestone driveways, or filling the voids in larger stone. Imported via ship to the Erie dock.

Great for filling wet, muddy areas. Also popular for mulching planting areas, creating dry ponds and stream beds, and a variety of other creative landscaping ideas. May still be dirty even when washed coming from the gravel pit.

Large screened stone mined locally in Corry, PA. Great for filling in large muddy areas, reducing erosion from water run-off, or general landscaping projects. Note: not washed.

Dredged from Lake Erie

Fine sand dredged from Lake Erie via ship — you'll find small white shells in the sand. Typically used for mixing mortar or concrete, under swimming pools, for sandboxes, and can also be swept into the joints of patio pavers.

Produced locally in Corry, PA. Used as a leveling course under patio pavers. Can also be tilled into clay-based soils to increase drainage.
